Who We Are…

Hi there! I’m Brandy, the primary writer on here. I’m a social worker by trade. I have a soft spot for animals, with the totally normal exception of birds. I have a desire to see just about anything and everything the world has to offer.

My husband is Chapman, his first name is Chris but we don’t use that around here. He’s a glass worker for a pretty famous little glass factory. He is obsessed with pizza and therefore we’ll pepper in some restaurant reviews. His desire is to keep me from spending all our money petting sloths or something.

Together, we’ve been married for more than 20 years. We have one son, Asher, who is now an adult. Asher may not share our DNA but he definitely shares our last name <3

Based in West Virginia with full-time 9-5ish jobs, our day trips typically take place in WV, KY, and OH. We’re fans of longer trips, and we’re starting to explore further out West. We’re big fans of cruising, too.
